TIme for Something New

Art is 8 x 10, with frame the piece measures 16 x 18.5

This piece really was a little bit of something new for me.

I decided to experiment and play with acrylic and oil paint sticks on linen to create this fun, loose flower. I love when I give myself permission to try something different and just see where it goes.

And then there’s this frame. 🤍 I found this antique frame and knew it needed a painting with a little personality. I especially love the border around the piece and the extra bit of character it adds.

It feels old and new at the same time, a little imperfect, a little unexpected, and full of charm.
