This piece begins with a richly layered surface of acrylic paint, tissue paper, mud, crayon, and fluid ink—materials slowly built up to create depth, texture, and a sense of history within the work.

From there, I paint into the negative space, allowing soft, muted florals to emerge from the layers beneath. The process is intuitive and playful, guided by instinct as the composition gradually finds its balance.

The original painting has sold, but I would be delighted to create a similar piece for you. Custom color palettes are always welcome.
